Research has proven that chiropractic care is either more effective or equally effective as comparable pharmaceutical and surgical treatments for back pain, neck pain, and headaches. More importantly, research has demonstrated that chiropractic care is significantly safer than comparable pharmaceutical and surgical treatments. According to studies related to NSAIDs when comparted to manipulations, chiropractic is about 4,000 times as safe as NSAIDs. Treatment available in our clinic include the following: Chiropractic adjustment of the full spine region and extremities, indicated for spinal and extremity joint mobilization. Spinal (disc) decompression therapy for lumbar and cervical disc herniations. Flexion/Distraction of the lumbar and cervical spine for treatment of herniations and facet joint arthrosis. Therapeutic ultrasound for selected sub-chronic and chronic conditions such as: adhesive capsulitis, bursitis, myositis, soft tissue injuries, capsular tightness, capsular scarring. Electrotherapy for relaxation of muscle spasms, prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy, increase local blood circulation, muscle re-education, and maintaining or increasing range of motion.   Cryotherapy/vasopneumatic compression for management of pain and swelling following injury to upper and lower extremities. Cold-Laser therapy for acute/chronic pain management and accelerated wound healing. Full-time massage therapist on staff providing therapeutic, deep tissue, sports massage and trigger point therapy.
